Liverpool to reignite interest for Polish star Piotr Zielinski – Reds transfer news and gossip

Liverpool are said to be back in for one of their long-time transfer targets, exciting Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

The talented 23-year-old is said to have snubbed the Reds’ advances when he was at Empoli before moving on to Napoli.

But he’s been a revelation for the title chasers this season, making 38 appearances, scoring seven times.

And with the Reds keen to bolster their side over the summer, they are ready to launch another bid, according to Tutto Mercato Web.

Especially if he doesn’t extend his contract past 2021.

Liverpool and Arsenal target would ‘cost over £110million’

Liverpool and Arsenal target Thomas Lemar could be sold this summer but Monaco’s president claims it would ‘cost a lot’ should someone pry him away from Ligue 1.

The 22-year-old was subject to a number of bids last season but stayed put when the crux of the squad was sold off.

Speaking to Telefoot, Vadim Vasilyev has hinted a sale could be on the cards, saying: “Good luck to those who want him.”

When asked about whether bids of over £110million would be sufficient to land Lemar, he replied that the winger would “cost a lot”.

And he became just the eighth striker to hit the 30-goal mark in a Premier League campaign, and the eighth different forward to achieve that feat for the Anfield giants in their entire 126-year existence.

Yet for Salah, all the accolades, all the awards will mean nothing if his Reds end the season without a trophy.
