Sports collectors, autograph seekers, dealers and fans in general descended upon The Philadelphia Sports and Memorabilia Show in King of Prussia, PA, for a couple days of fun and sports talk. Attendees were especially hyped to see Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton of the 1980 World Series team. They were not the only athletes from that team that were available for signings.
Baseball fans had many options for signings but there were plenty of players from the 1960 Eagles championship team in attendance along with some boxers like Bernard Hopkins Jr. Current Phillies fans had the opportunity to meet past manager, Charlie Manuel and current star, Rhys Hoskins.
On site were vendors who could give sports cards enthusiasts authentication of their autographs or cards from their homes. Additionally, there were opportunities to sell merchandise or cards to vendors. What you found at the Philadelphia Sports and Memorabilia Show was plenty of discussion among sports card collectors about past and old cards talking about current and past trends.
The event was certainly a chance for fans old and young to share in their interest and add to their sports collection. In case you missed out on finding something at the event, you can see the list of vendors from that event and get in touch with them to see what else they are offering.
If you missed out on this event, be sure to check out their website for future event signings. You never know what you might find for your sports collection or man cave.
