The Jersey City Department of Health and Human Services, Jersey City’s AIDS Task Force, and Jersey City Medical Center/RWJ Barnabas Health hosted an AIDS Walk on World AIDS Day yesterday.
The walk began at the Jersey City Medical Center and ended at City Hall with a program and reception.
A number of officials spoke at the reception including Councilwoman Joyce Watterman; Stacey L. Flanagan, director of the Department of Health & Human Services; Chad Balodis, director of the Hudson County HIV Planning Council; and Dr. Jack O’Brien with CarePoint Bayonne Medical Center.
This year’s theme is #LetsEndItJC.
